The use of state of the art materials, high quality engineering services conforming to international standards, and large scale organization are distinguishing features of the construction sector in the world. Plastic is a material which offers an ever widening range of use and is the basis for the production of diverse products. ENKA HOLDING established PIMAS in 1963 to produce plastic construction materials. Ever since the start of production at its Cayirova premises in Gebze, PIMAS has closely followed the most recent developments in the plastic sector. And it is for this reason that a short while after the production of hard pipes began in 1964, the name PIMAS got to be identified with plastic pipes. In 1982 PIMAS added a new PVC product to its production line and introduced PIMAPEN PVC Window Systems to the Turkish construction industry.
PIMAPEN's superior window system profiles are meticulously produced at PIMAS' s premises in Gebze, an area of 77.000 sqm. Equipped with 50 extrusion machines and modern production technologies.
PIMAPEN is a modern window system designed to meet any architectural requirement. PIMAPEN profiles were the first to acquire TSE certification in its sector, and are produced in conformity with norm no.5358. The profiles are tested during and after production in terms of performance and quality, not only in the high-tech PIMAS laboratories but also by international independent organizations. All performance tests are performed at the Rosenheim Institute in Germany, testifying to the conformity of PIMAPEN with international standards. PIMAS' s overall adoption of quality and customer satisfaction principles has been approved by the international supervising institute ABS Quality Evaluations, Inc., and the company has thereby received the ISO 9001 certificate.
Following its investments in R&D, PIMAS started in 2004 to produce "vinyl siding facade system" with SAFELOCK - locking system. Finally in 2007 PIMAS' s new product "CAMODA" Balcony Glazing Systems are introduced to the market.
PIMAS established a new production unit in Rostov, Russia to produce PVC profiles in order to become a leading PVC profile producer in the region.
